Skinny Jeans...Here I come!!!
Okay, so truthfully, this may not ever be me and not that I am expecting to be this skinny, however, after taking family pictures (which turned out so cute!!!) and realizing that I am not as small as I thought I was, I want to change. I have been training for a half marathon, but not really trying too hard. Well, have been trying to get serious about the whole thing. I am working out everyday now and I just started Weight Watchers (for the last time!!). So I am here to declare that I am going to get into my skinny jeans by the end of the summer!!!!! I am taking baby steps, so my first goal, 11lbs. So if any of you see me eating bad stuff, its okay that you get on my case. I need it!

Another calling...really?
Okay, a week ago last Thursday, I recieved a call from Bro. Carter from the Stake high council. They wanted to "meet with me on Sunday". Okay, so you know that when you recieve a call from someone from the stake its usually a calling. I was a little worried. I have never served on a stake level before and frankly was not sure what they could really want with me. Well, Sunday rolls around and after Sunbeams, I go to meet with the stake. Well, I am officially the new "Stake Girls Camp Certification Specialist". I couldn't be more thrilled.
First, its been like 15 years since I went to camp. Secondly, I love camp and more importantly, I love this calling. So far its been a blast. I love the people that I am serving with. I am a little nervous to be able to get everything done that needs to be done, but I hope that with the Lords help that this will be a great experience for the girls. I feel like my testimony has already grown and I have only been in this calling for 10 days.
I am still in Cub Scouts and teaching Sunbeams, so I am a little overwhelmed right now, but it will only be until June 26. Wahoo!!! GIRLS CAMP HERE WE COME!!!

Why is it so hard!!!????
Okay, let me soap box for a post. I hate the wieght loss battle. Its hard and frustrating and difficult. I really want to know why its so hard to lose weight? Is it because of emotional issues? physical issues? or mental issues. I have not had such a hard time before. I have been working out for the past month and not only have I NOT lost weight, but I have put on a few extra pounds. This bites in a big way! Now I know the whole "muscle weighs more than fat" argument, but for me all that means is that I am adding muscle mass to all the weight I have to lose. Does anyone have any ideas that doesn't cost an arm and a leg that is realitively easy to follow? I have done the weight watchers thing, but I got poor and had to quit. Also I would love to hear some motivational stories! I need some help NOW!!!!

Happy BeLated Birthday Gary!!!
Kason and Eeff. Two troublemakers and Gary's Favorite Youngest children!
Yes, I know it is hard to believe, but my sweet, sexy, handsom, debonair honey is the big 42!
It was an eventful day that went something like this.
8:00 AM: Gary in bed. Jennie up to workout and go grocery shopping for the big boy's dinner.
8:45 AM: Jennie arrive at the gym and run for 20 Minutes. Gary still in bed.
9:45 AM: Jennie making a left turn onto Main Street hits another car making a left turn into parking lot! Gary recieving a phone call from Jennie in a panic (but not crying)!
10:20 AM: Accident clean up done. I am off to Maceys for groceries (not too much damage to the car, luckily! Gary back to bed.
11:30 AM: Jennie arrives home and starts her incredibly amazing Gourmet Italian Smorgasbord. Gary is awake and hanging around the house and watching movies.
1:00 PM: Jennie still cooking, Gary, being sworn off from the kitchen by threat of his life, still watching movies and hanging out.
3:00 PM: Jennie starting all the main courses of dinner (I had three!). Gary taking a nap.
4:00 PM: Gary awakes and begins to straighten the house, Jennie begins to make her salad dressing from scratch!
4:30 PM: Jennie cuts end of thumb off while putting the finishing touches on the salad! Gary doctors her up just in time for the party!
5:00 PM: Guests arrive, we pray and eat!
6:15 PM: We did this...
and there really are 42 candles on this cake. No one ever does that anymore, so we did! Luckily the smoke alarm never went off...(I think the batteries are dead)!
6:20 PM More guests arrive and finish off dinner and dessert.
9:00 PM I was pooped out and crashed on the bed!
