Blogworthy?

Yesterday I experienced IKEA for the first time. It was incredible. I enjoyed it, however my poor Gary was irritated in the maze of showrooms that created a firehazard, in his opinion as we tried to get to the exit, following one "Exit This Way" sign after another. Only to be lead to another sign. I thought someone might go postal. It was not exactly exciting for him.

Sunday two crazy things happened. First, I get out of the shower and notice that something is different with my toe. I look closer and my fourth toenail is coming off!! What the... I can't believe it. Shauna was there and relished in removing it completely. It didn't hurt at all but now I have a little thin toenail in its place. Its the weirdes thing I have ever seen. Second, I skipped church (probably making a lot of enemies too), and ditched my primary class and became really irresponsible for the day. Shauna and Bryce (Gary's sis and bro in law) came down on thier Goldwing and so we went for a long bike ride up through the farmlands of Preston, Dayton, Weston, and then through Weston canyon and came out to Malad where we stopped for lunch at "Me and Lou's". It was okay, but not wonderful. From there, Shauna and Bryce headed home to Rexberg and Gary and I headed back through Weston Canyon for Cache Valley. It was really fun. Though I felt guilty for the rest of the weekend for skipping primary. I owe some big apologies to Megan, Jenny G., Jenny M., Jess, Hillary, and Kelley. I promise, I am not ever going to act that way again!!!

Saturday was pretty eventful. My mom had asked us a while ago to put new flooring down in her house. Well we finally decided to take the weekend and get it done! It took exactly 12 hours. It looks amazing. We did 2 1/2 rooms. It was hard work and my knees still hurt, but it was a great experience. Kason (Gary's youngest) helped a lot too! Great Job!!

Other than that I have been going to school and enjoying 90% of it. Gary has been going to work everyday and trying to keep busy. He had the opportunity to witness the cancelation of the Ares rocket test. He said there were 10,000 people that had come out to witness the event. Bummer it was canceled, but we are glad they stayed safe.

Well, as week 3 of school starts and Peach Days approaches, may I wish all my faithful followers a very happy day, week, month, season, and year!!!
