I stole this from Diana. I am not sure that it is an acurate projection, but its pretty cool anyway.
What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The Midland

"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.

The West
Boston
North Central
The Inland North

The Talking Dog...

Three racehorses were in the stable waiting for the big race. Trying to psych each other out, they began bragging. First horse, 'I've been in 38 races and have only lost twice.' Second horse, 'Well, I've been in 47 races and have never lost.' Third horse, 'Huh, I've never lost either and I even beat Secretariat twice.' Just then, they heard a chuckle by the stable door, and there was a greyhound dog walking up to them. The greyhound said, 'That's nothing. I've been in over 200 races and have won every one by at least 3 lengths.' First horse, 'Wow! That's amazing - a talking dog!'

So Gary and I recieved callings yesterday from the Bishop. I was called to be Den Leader in the Cub Scouts. I will be over the Webelos. I am really excited and ready to play. Gary was called as the Venturing Coach for the priests. He is really nervous but glad to be serving. He is so great with his service and time. He has always magnified his calling. I think he will be great in this position as well.

Book: Chronicles of Narnia by CS Lewis

"But Behind him, on a much higher seat in the middle of the sledge sat a very different person -- a great lady, taller than any woman that edmand had ever seen."

I have this book because I got it at the library to keep me busy at work, but I have been so busy lately, that I haven't had a chance to read it and I miss it. I try to read a little at night and then I feel like I am neglecting my hubby, so alas, I just take it one day at a time.

What to do...

Hello to all my blogging friends! I hope this day is going well for you. I need some help. I am trying to come up with some free activities that we can do with a couple of teenagers that they would like and that we would enjoy too. The boys are coming this weekend and they usually just sit around bored. I want them to have fun when they come, but doing something that is legal. So if you have any ideas I need to hear them soon! Thanks all!!

Its Thursday...

So there are a lot of great things about Thursday. Today for instance was payday. Thats great. Also, there is the Friday factor. Thursday is to Friday as Friday is to Saturday. Pretty cool I say. Not much is happening in the Moore household this week. I picked up my final wedding photos from the photographer last night. He touched up 3 as part of the package I purchased. They look really great. Hense the new photo above. Also, Gary took me out to eat to Cafe Rio. I love that place. It is divine. I had the Barbacoa Salad and he had the Burrito. Scrumdiddly!!! Gary bought me a new toy. Its a quilt frame, but it is only 14"x 14" so it fits right on your lap. Its been lots of fun so far. Anyway, this is our life as we know it now. I hope all is well with all the friends and family we have out there. Signing off...

Jen

PS. The post about the baby was an April 1st post...just in case you believed it.

Well everyone I have to announce that Gary and I are expecting. Yes, we are having a baby! I am about 12 weeks along. We are very excited to let you all know and we are going in for an ultrasound next week. I am betting on twins. I have been pretty sick. We are taking ideas for names right now. Let me know all your ideas. We are quite open at this point. Well, have a happy April 1st everyone! Love us!

This really great book...

So has anyone ever heard of the Chronicles of Narnia? Well I am reading it right now and I just have to give a shout out to CS Lewis. Oh my heck, he is a great author. I have been very impressed with the talent he has shown at developing the moral within the excitement and adventure of the story. If anyone is looking to read some good adventure books and you don't want to worry about the vulgar aspects of most books, then you need to read these books. They are the best!

Well, I am soon to be finished with these books and was wondering if anyone else had some ideas of great books to read? Well, Let me know. I anxiously look forward to hearing about your favorite books!
