Larsen Family Fundraiser
Some of you know Daryl and Ashley Larsen. For those of you who don't, they are a young couple here in Perry, who just lost their baby to a rare lung disorder. Their loss is truly a tragedy. They are now experiencing the beginnings of what will be a land slide of medical bills. In an effort to aide them, there will be a one day fundraiser at the Maddox Steak House. On November 5, you can call Maddox at 723-2916 and order the Turkey Steak dinner. You can choose the 2 or 4 family meal at the regular price. All proceeds will then be donated to the Larsen family. You do need to remember to mention the Larsen family name when ordering. You can then pick up your meal at the take out window in the back of Maddox. It will be for lunch and dinner. Please spread the word. Feel free to copy and paste this post on your blog

I was tagged by Amie! This is what you do.....You go to your pictures area on your computer and pick the 4th folder and 4th picture and then explain it! This is kinda different and fun. :) Here's my picture:
This is the back of my skirt of my wedding dress. I took this picture while trying it on at the store to show the girls at work. It was great! I loved this dress and love the way my day went... Here is another picture of the whole thing.
Just a note of trivia... While at the temple taking pictures. I stepped on the front of the dress and ripped a big fat hole in the overlay. I was a little bummed, but it wasn't enought to ruin my day!
I tag: Bryce or Shauna, Jess, Kim, and Diana!

Holly Homemaker
Some of you may remember that in High School and my early College years I used to be super homemakery. I loved to cook and sew and craft. But for the last 7 or so years I have fallen out of that realm with trying to finish school and then getting married to a guy who cooks better than I do. So lets just say that I am little less of a homemaker than I used to be. But, I recently got a new serger which has been motivating to pick up my sewing skills again.
The story goes like this. I decided that I was going to make some drapes for our french doors off the dining room. However, searching the internet, I found some curtains with the same material that I was going to use (or close to it). So I baught them. Well, I didn't like them. Well, it was more that I LOATHED the curtains. By this point I was undecided about the color and then, I bought this cute wreath that was autum-ee and it really popped against the wall and so I decided to find some material that resembled those colors. Well, this is what I ended up with and I could not be more proud of myself for being a good designer today (only because that does not happen that often).
This is a cute bird house that I found at my new favorite store, Tai'pan!
